It is... surrounded by hundreds of undisturbed acres in a private natural setting that is especially beautiful at sunset. With 3 levels and sleeping accommodations for up to 6 adults and 4 children, this is a terrific place for a family.
The main level includes a living room with French doors leading to the upper deck, a wood burning fireplace, kitchen with a gas stove, and a dining area seating 6. The master bedroom has a king bed, en suite bathroom and French doors leading out to a private screened deck with an outdoor dining table. Downstairs, a second living room with direct access to the garage allows extra space to entertain with TV, ping pong table, foos ball table, and a kitchenette area that opens up to the lower deck. It also has a bedroom with a queen bed, a full bathroom, and laundry room. Upstairs, the loft has two twin beds and a futon for extra sleeping. Also upstairs, a third bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom. Outside, there is a seated fire pit area to roast marshmallows, and enjoy a glass of wine as the sun sets!

For the outdoor enthusiasts, we are 5-9 minutes from the Highlands Outpost, Highlands aerial park, and the Bartram trail, where you can experience the Scaly Mountain Screamer rollercoaster, Extreme Tubing Slide, Gem Mine, winter snow sledding , trout fishing, zip lining, terrific hiking, and RTV tours. At 4000 foot elevation, Sunset ridge at Scaly Mountain is a great place to escape to a new climate, do some great hiking, and take in all that the highlands plateau has to offer!
We offer flexible leasing options: 1, 3, or 6-month leases are available and negotiable. Monthly rate listed reflects a 12-month lease and does not include gas or electric utilities.
Application Process (required for all tenants 18 and older): All applicants must complete a rental application, which includes: Previous rental history Employment and income verification Credit and background checks
If approved, a $500 lease deposit is required to generate the lease agreement for electronic signature. This deposit is applied toward the first month's rent. Please note: if the applicant decides not to proceed after the lease has been sent for signature, the lease deposit is non-refundable.
Move-in dates more than 30 days out require first month's rent and signed lease to secure the property. Otherwise, the property will remain listed and available.
